Firm maintains long-term backing of local game as federation faces scrutiny
SportPesa has called for a transparent and independent review of the issues currently facing the Football Kenya Federation (FKF), even as it praised recent strides made in advancing Kenyan football.

The firm pointed to a series of milestones achieved under FKF President Hussein Mohammed, noting that Kenya has recently strengthened its standing in regional and global football.

At the domestic level, SportPesa noted improvements in league management, increased exposure for clubs and players, and renewed commercial interest, all of which have contributed to revitalising the local football scene.

Despite the progress, SportPesa emphasised that the integrity of the game must remain paramount. It urged that all allegations under review be subjected to due process through a fair, independent, and transparent investigation.
