The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) has appointed Mr.Tobias Alando Acting Chief Executive Officer from 1st July 2022 following Phyliis Wakiaga’s exit from the Association on 30th June 2022.
Tobias joined KAM in 2015 and was appointed as Head of Membership and Governance in 2010 where he played a critical role of expanding the KAM’s membership base and leading the development and execution of strategies on membership growth and retention, business planning,and structural governance.

KAM works to highlight and resolve specific challenges faced by manufacturers, and to address issues in the general business environment that hinder the growth and expansion of local businesses.
“We consistently ask our members to submit any issues regarding regulations and taxation for resolution to enable us offer timely and accurate intervention. We have a members’ helpdesk that works as a hotline to receive urgent information on members’ issues that require prompt action,” it said.
