Equity Group leadership, led by Dr. James Mwangi, hosted Dr. Garry Conille, the new United Nations Resident Coordinator in Kenya,alongside UN leadership, for a strategic engagement focused on deepening the long-standing partnership between Equity Group and the United Nations system in Kenya.
The discussions reaffirmed a shared commitment to advancing inclusive growth, resilience, innovation, and sustainable socio-economic transformation across Kenya and the wider region.
Dr. Mwangi highlighted that through Equity Group Foundation (EGF), whose programmes are closely aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Equity continues to drive transformative impact across financial inclusion, education and leadership development, health, enterprise development, climate resilience, technology, and social protection.
Dr. Garry Conille underscored the critical role of strategic partnerships in accelerating sustainable development, empowering communities, and advancing collective action toward the achievement of the SDGs.
The engagement also explored opportunities for deeper collaboration in empowering youth and MSMEs, strengthening resilience among vulnerable communities, and scaling inclusive development solutions that create long-term impact.
