The partnership will create a pathway for 100 Equity scholars annually to pursue Master’s degree programmes at European universities, opening doors to world-class education,research opportunities,international exposure, and global networks.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, EU Ambassador to Kenya H.E. Henriette Geiger noted:
“The Equity Group Foundation, through its Wings to Fly and Equity Leaders Program, is an ideal partner for us, with our shared objectives of promoting access to quality education, holistic development and intercultural exchanges as a key driver of growth and human capital development.”

Equity Group Foundation Executive Chairman Dr. James Mwangi emphasized the broader vision behind the collaboration:

“We view education not only as academic advancement but as a bridge to global networks, ideas, and leadership.

These connections are what produce globally competitive leaders capable of transforming societies.”
Principal Secretary for Higher Education and Research Dr. Beatrice Inyangala welcomed the partnership, stating:

“Partnerships such as this create invaluable opportunities for our students, researchers and academics to access world-class education, advanced research and international exposure while strengthening our institutions and enriching our curricula.”

This collaboration builds on the success of the Equity Leaders Program(ELP),which has already helped more than 1,206 scholars secure fully funded admissions to leading global universities and facilitated over 10,505 paid internship opportunities across the region.
