Yamaha BY CFAO Kenya marked its 71st anniversary with a customer service clinic that offered riders free motorcycle inspections, diagnostics,and oil changes,benefiting more than 100 customers.

The initiative aimed to help riders keep their motorcycles in optimal condition while strengthening Yamaha’s relationship with its growing community across Kenya.
The service clinic brought together a diverse mix of riders, including adventure enthusiasts, touring groups, lifestyle riders, and daily commuters, reflecting the broad range of customers that make up Yamaha’s riding community.

Speaking during the event,Charles Mulwa,Consultant for Yamaha East/Central Africa, said the clinic was an opportunity to celebrate Yamaha’s milestone while giving back to customers who have supported the brand over the years.
“As we celebrate Yamaha’s 71st anniversary, our focus remains on delivering value to our customers.Through initiatives such as this service clinic, we are providing riders with free inspections, diagnostics,and oil changes to help keep their motorcycles in excellent condition while strengthening our relationship with the Yamaha community,” said Mulwa.

The clinic forms part of Yamaha’s broader customer engagement strategy and coincides with Yamaha Motor’s global 71st anniversary celebrations under the theme,“Own the Moment, Take Action.”
The theme reflects the company’s commitment to creating what Yamaha refers to as Kando -a Japanese concept that describes the profound sense of satisfaction and excitement that comes from experiencing exceptional products and services.

Mulwa noted that motorcycles continue to appeal to a wide range of riders due to their convenience, efficiency, and versatility across different lifestyles and transport needs.
“We’re seeing interest from a diverse range of riders, including daily commuters, lifestyle enthusiasts, adventure riders, and touring groups. Motorcycles continue to offer a practical and enjoyable mobility option for many Kenyans,” he said.
For Nairobi-based Yamaha customer Agnes Musyoka,the motorcycle has become an essential part of her daily routine.

“I use my motorcycle for my daily commute to work. It helps me beat traffic, save time, and reduce my transport costs. It’s a practical and economical option for getting around the city every day,” she said.
