Yellow Card has expanded its business payments offering with the launch of Global Accounts, a service that brings multi-currency accounts and international payment capabilities together on one platform.
The service enables businesses to open named accounts in US dollars, British pounds and euros through established banking partners. It supports transfers through ACH, SWIFT and Fedwire, as well as local payment systems covering more than 50 currencies in over 190 countries.
The platform is accessible through a single application programming interface (API) or Yellow Card’s Treasury Portal, allowing businesses to manage international transactions without having to coordinate multiple systems.
For platforms with additional regulatory requirements, the service offers managed bank account structures through which named accounts can be issued directly to end customers.
Yellow Card said the launch responds to the challenges businesses face when expanding internationally, particularly the need to establish new banking relationships and financial processes in each market.
“Businesses shouldn’t need a new banking relationship every time they enter a new market,” said Chris Maurice, the company’s chief executive officer and co-founder.
He said Global Accounts provides infrastructure for moving and managing money across borders while reducing the need to rebuild financial operations country by country.
The launch follows the growth of Yellow Card’s existing payments infrastructure, which has processed more than $10 billion in volume. The company operates under nine active licences and registrations worldwide.
Businesses can book a call with Yellow Card to discuss access to the service.
