Stanbic Kenya Foundation,GIZ celebrates the graduation of 212 entrepreneurs
The Chief Executive Dr. Joshua Oigara and County Executive Committee Member for Trade Eng. Martha Cheruto and other country officials visited the MSME exhibition at the Graduation. Also in attendance was the Employment For Skills Development (E4D) Technical Director, Luis Bosch representing the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) and the Executive Director /Head of Stanbic Kenya Foundation, Pauline W Mbayah.
The 212 participants were trained in business resilience, digital sales, marketing, financial and people management, access to markets & new value chains as well as legal compliance requirements.The Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) Resilience program was launched in 2022 with the aim accelerating business recovery and growth of SMEs post the COVID-19 pandemic. Access to Finance is a challenge that the entrepreneurs face and we are proud to announce that to date 108 MSMEs in Uasin Gishu County have accessed affordable finance as part of the program.
