KNCCI and Sidian Bank Explore Strategic Partnership to Advance MSMEs Growth;

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) held a strategic engagement with Sidian Bank to explore opportunities for collaboration aimed at enhancing the growth, competitiveness and financial inclusion of MSMEs in Kenya.

The KNCCI delegation was led by Chamber President, Dr. Eric Rutto, Director, Nyanza Region, Mr. Ken Onditi, MBS; Head of Policy, Research & Advocacy, Mr.Vincent Kimosop; Membership Services, Ms.Sarah Njoroge, and Communications Officer, Ms.Ummy.

The delegation was received by Sidian Bank Managing Director & CEO Mr. John Okulo; Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. David Nyamu; and Ms.Mary Thiongo,Manager,Marketing,PR and Communications.

The engagement explored key areas of collaboration, including MSME financing, trade and export support, financial literacy and capacity building, women & youth entrepreneurship, digital transformation and sector-specific programs, including opportunities in the Blue Economy.

Discussions also focused on Sidian Bank’s participation in the upcoming Africa Commerce and Industry Summit (ACIS) 2026, particularly under the Innovation and Thought Leadership pillars.

The platform will provide an opportunity for the Bank to showcase financial innovation and digital solutions while contributing insights to discussions on the future of African businesses
