- NCBA Crowns Johari Awards Winners – Celebrates Growth in Asset Finance and Insurance Premium Financing;
NCBA Group has officially concluded the 2025 Johari Awards with a Grand Finale in Nairobi, marking the culmination of a countrywide celebration of excellence across Kenya’s Asset Finance, Insurance Premium Finance (IPF), and Bancassurance sectors.

The 2025 Johari Awards kicked off with regional events in Mombasa, Western Kenya, Eldoret, Mt. Kenya Region and Thika.
These mini-galas emphasised NCBA’s commitment to recognising performance at the grassroots, strengthening partner relationships, and celebrating regional excellence before the final national event in Nairobi.
This year, NCBA honoured 154 outstanding performers, comprising 75 regional winners celebrated during mini-galas across the country and 79 winners recognised at the Nairobi finale last evening.

The celebration comes on the heels of NCBA’s strong Q3 2025 financial performance, where the Group reported a profit after tax of KSh 16.4 billion, an 8.5% increase year-on-year.
Profit before tax stood at KSh 20.5 billion, reflecting 11% growth, while operating income rose to KSh 53.4 billion, representing a 13.8% increase.

NCBA’s non-banking subsidiaries, including NCBA Insurance (NCBAIG), Leasing, Investment Banking and Bancassurance, continued to deliver strong performance, posting a 48% increase in their contribution to the Group’s profit before tax.
These results underscore the strength of NCBA’s diversified business model and highlight the vital role played by the dealer, broker and intermediary partners celebrated at the Johari Awards.
Speaking at the gala, James Gossip, Managing Director of NCBA Kenya, commented,
“The Johari Awards continue to showcase the power of partnership, resilience, and shared ambition. Every winner here tonight reflects the strength of our ecosystem; dealers, brokers, agents, intermediaries, and teams that fuel our leadership in Asset Finance and Insurance.
