Justin Mollel Group Chief Financial Officer-(CFO) Designate,East African Breweries Plc (EABL)
East African Breweries PLC has appointed Justin Mollel as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Designate, with effect from May 1, 2026, the company said in a public announcement.
Mollel will succeed the current CFO on July 1, 2026, following a transition period of two months, according to the notice issued on behalf of the company’s board.
He currently serves as Finance Director at Diageo Ireland, where he oversees financial operations and supports business growth strategies.
Mollel brings more than 15 years of experience in finance and leadership roles across listed and privately held companies.
During his career, he has worked in several markets in the alcoholic beverages industry, including previous roles as Finance Director at Guinness Ghana and Serengeti Breweries Limited.

In those roles, he was involved in financial strategy, performance management, regulatory compliance and business transformation initiatives.

According to the company, Mollel’s professional background covers areas such as financial and statutory reporting, risk management, auditing, strategy development and change management, particularly in high-growth and competitive business environments.
He is also a Certified Public Accountant(CPA) and a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors.
The announcement was issued by Angela Namwakira, Company Secretary at EABL, on behalf of the board of directors, who congratulated Mollel on his appointment.


He holds a
