Potential users of new Mercedes-Benz trucks are offered the option of purchasing, or the benefits
a product titled, “Mobility”. This saves the client from the cost of paying for a new truck and
instead provides the operation of the vehicle for a fixed monthly cost over a given period and
agreed distance.
The truck user decides on a period of operation for three, four, or five years and calculates the
future annual distance for each year of the duration of the contract. Working in conjunction with
NCBA, DT Dobie gives a monthly contract rate. This covers servicing, maintenance, repairs and
telematics.When the contract ends the client can request costings for an extension to the contract,
purchasing the vehicle at the current market value, or requesting a quotation for a replacement
through the Mobility scheme.
