- BNN Kenya Kicks off
Business Networking Night (BNN) officially launched in Kenya with a high-profile gathering in Nairobi, drawing over 300 business executives and thought leaders from diverse industries.
The event marked the Nairobi debut of BNN, a global business connector that seeks to bridge the gap between small businesses and larger enterprises.
Its primary aim is to unlock new markets, expand funding channels, and encourage meaningful partnerships for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
BNN will be organizing the networking event every two months to provide a consistent platform for entrepreneurs and corporations to exchange insights, resources, and opportunities.
Ridwan Yusuf, the BNN Chief Executive Officer, said the essence of this business network is to collaborate, grow, and connect.
“There’s a saying, ‘Your network is your net worth,’ and this event is built on that principle,” said Yusuf.
Ahmed Sheikh, CEO of Umma Insurance, emphasized the strategic value of the initiative, stating that the platform will help organizations create links that will in turn help them raise finances.
After successful past editions in North America and Europe, BNN is now poised to cement its presence in African cities, with Nairobi as the latest destination in its continental expansion.
In addition, the organizers introduced a virtual database to keep attendees connected for referrals and post-event partnership.
The organizers envision the event series as a long-term solution for fostering a vibrant business environment where MSMEs and large companies can thrive symbiotically and contribute to sustainable economic development.
