betPawa has announced a KSh 6.7 million investment in sports development, delivering full kits and essential training equipment to teams across the country.
The initiative supports both men’s and women’s teams and reflects a growing commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive foundation for sport at the community level.
In total, 575 players will receive complete kit sets consisting of jerseys, shorts, and socks. Each of the 25 teams will also receive four match balls, bringing the total to 100 balls distributed.
To further support training and match readiness, the donation includes 575 training bibs and 75 pairs of goalkeeper gloves.
“Sports development starts with access,” said Borah Ndanyungu, head of local marketing and CSR at betPawa.
“When athletes have the right tools, it changes how they train, how they compete, and how they see themselves.
This initiative is about creating that foundation and ensuring that both male and female teams are equally supported.” The beneficiary teams represent a wide cross-section of Kenyan football, spanning multiple regions and competitive levels:

Maungu All Stars FC, Majengo FC, Mwendo FC, Kisii Wazee FC, Kapkorech Starlet, St Josephus Nakuru, Maringo United, Masimba Queens, Lugusi FC, Youngboys FC, Livewire FC, Panga FC, Black Stallion FC, UNESCO FC, Kangeta Youth FC (Men Team),
Kangami FC (Men), Gategi Ladies, HCE FC, Falcon Queens, Arrows of Kajembe Starlets, Atletico Kangemi SC, Kibagare Girls FC, Kick It Kenya FC, Shimanzi FC, and Nyanturago Town Boys FC.
Each team brings its own story of resilience, ambition, and dedication to the game. With improved access to quality equipment, these teams are better positioned to train consistently, compete effectively, and represent their communities with pride.
Across many parts of Africa, one of the most persistent barriers to sports development remains access to basic equipment.
Without proper kits, training gear, and match balls, talent development is often constrained before it can fully emerge. betPawa’s investment addresses this challenge directly.
equipping teams with the essentials, the brand is helping to create an environment where players can focus on performance and growth rather than limitations.
