Absa Kenya and Vivo Energy Kenya Sign MOU to Accelerate Shell Service Stations Development and Dealers Growth;

Absa Bank Kenya PLC and Vivo Energy Kenya,the company that distributes and markets Shell products and services in the country,have signed a financing partnership aimed at empowering Shell service station dealers with access to tailored financing solutions that support business growth,expansion, and long-term sustainability.

The partnership will provide financing to eligible Vivo Energy Kenya dealers, enabling them to finance rent payments in advance to landowners for agreed periods of time and in construction of additional sites.

The solution is designed to help dealers secure strategic business locations while preserving working capital for day-to-day operations, investment, and future growth opportunities.

With Vivo Energy operating one of Kenya’s largest fuel retail networks of approximately 350 service stations across the country, the partnership is expected to strengthen the dealer ecosystem,support infrastructure development, and contribute to growth within Kenya’s energy and mobility sector.
