Public installations at some of Nairobi’s busy commuter hubs,allowed thousands of Kenyans to experience the unique features of the LG WashTower first-hand

LG Electronics (LG) has taken its latest home laundry innovation directly to Kenyans through a series of high-visibility public showcases of the LG WashTower at some of Nairobi’s busiest commuter hubs, giving thousands of people an up-close look at the premium all-in-one laundry solution.

The activation, held at the Sarit Centre Ring Road Roundabout, Kenyatta National Hospital Roundabout and St. Austin’s Roundabout, allowed consumers to discover how intelligent design can simplify life at home.

The showcases highlighted the WashTower’s sleek vertical design,integrated washer and dryer, and space-saving footprint,drawing the attention of motorists, commuters and pedestrians.

Unlike conventional stacked laundry appliances, the LG WashTower is engineered as a single integrated unit, with a centrally positioned control panel that places both the washer and dryer controls within easy reach.

Powered by LG’s AI Direct Drive™ technology, the appliance automatically detects fabric weight and softness to optimise washing performance while helping protect clothes from unnecessary wear.

The WashTower’s compact vertical configuration is designed for modern urban homes where maximising living space is increasingly important. It offers great convenience by reducing the installation space required compared with traditional side-by-side laundry setups.

“Modern living spaces, especially in urban areas tend to be compact and it therefore makes sense to reduce the footprint of domestic appliances and equipment.

We want our customers to enjoy the full benefits of our products, regardless of the size of space they have,” said LG East Africa President,Donghun Lee.

The public showcase was part of LG’s continued efforts to make premium home innovations more accessible by allowing consumers to experience products outside traditional retail environments.

Throughout the activation,members of the public interacted with LG representatives to learn about the appliance’s AI-powered laundry capabilities and explored features designed to improve efficiency and garment care.
