- Business Leaders,Policymakers and Investors to Convene in Nairobi for the 3rd Annual SME Conference, Awards & Exhibition
The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) will host the 3rd Annual SME Conference,Awards & Exhibition this week, on 23rd – 24th July 2026, at the All-Saints’ Cathedral Auditorium in Nairobi.
The event will be graced by the Chief Guest,FCPA Dr. Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya,Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development.
Held under the theme,“Beyond Survival:Building Smart and Resilient Businesses,” the two-day conference is expected to bring together over 2,500 delegates over the two days, including SME owners, policymakers, investors, development partners, financial institutions and industry experts.
The event will provide a platform to address critical issues affecting Kenya’s Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs),including access to finance,markets,innovation,digital transformation and an enabling policy environment.
Why This Matters:
MSMEs remain the backbone of Kenya’s economy, with an estimated 7.4 million enterprises employing approximately 15 million people and contributing about 40% of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Despite this significant contribution, many enterprises continue to face challenges such as limited access to affordable finance, unpredictable market conditions, regulatory constraints and low levels of formalisation.
