KCB Bank Kenya signed an MOU with the County Government of Bungoma, marking a shared commitment to sustainable development and stronger public service delivery.
The partnership sets the foundation for investing in clean, dependable energy solutions across Bungoma’s healthcare system, including the solarisation of 180 county health facilities and the adoption of clean cooking solutions that lower costs, reduce emissions, and improve working conditions for frontline health workers.
“Through asset-based financing and close collaboration with approved technical partners, we are proud to support Bungoma County’s journey toward reliable service delivery, environmental stewardship, and long-term economic value for communities.”said Mrs. Annastacia Kimtai, during the signing.
For Bungoma County, this collaboration supports development priorities by lowering operational costs, improving service reliability, and building resilience against climate-related risks.
