The Kenya Aviation Workers Union(KAWU) has signed a return to work formula,officially concluding the Air Traffic Control (ATC) staff strike that disputed operations at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The resolution follows a successful mediation meetong whic was held today led by the Cabinet Secretary(CS) for the Ministry of Transport,Davis Chirchir with partcipation from the Ministry of Labour,Kenya Airports Authority(KAA),Kenya Aviation Workers Union(KAWU),and Kenya Civil Aviation Authority(KCAA).
According to the statement,KAA commended all parties for their constructive engagements.
Operations are now normalized accros the Airports,Passengers are requested to contact their Airlines for the latest flight schedules.
KAA however,reiterates its commitment to safety and operational excellence across all airports across the Country.
