JW Marriott Hotel Cairo Mirage City announces the promotion of George Ghattas to General Manager

George’s journey in hospitality began in the operational financial analysis department of a respected Egyptian company specializing in hotels and Nile cruise operations.

He then advanced to the role of Multi-property Director of Finance, where he spent several impactful years honing his leadership and financial acumen.

In 2017, George became part of the JW Marriott Cairo family as Director of Finance.

Since joining our team, he has brought exceptional leadership, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of business needs.

His commitment, collaborative spirit, excellence in service, and ability to drive meaningful impact across all hotel operations quickly earned him the role of Hotel Manager in 2021.

Over the past years, George has played an instrumental role in elevating our hotel’s performance, inspiring our teams, and preparing the property for its exciting new chapter, one that includes rejuvenated rooms, refreshed F&B concepts,and a focus on positioning JW Marriott Cairo as the leading destination for luxury hospitality and service excellence in the city.
