ABSA bank in partnership with Visa, a global leader in digital payments, have launched the Absa Business Credit Card, aimed at empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by improving transactional efficiency and expense tracking across Kenya and beyond.

The Absa Business Credit Card gives businesses the ability to optimize their cash flow with flexible interest-free credit options of between 20 to 50 days on payables.
The card comes with 24/7 global emergency support and a variety of tools to better manage their business.
The Card also offers a full suite of benefits and privileges, putting businesses in complete control.
This includes digital card management capabilities with enhanced reporting dashboards; and access to more than 40 business providers, like Google Workspace,Shopify,and DocuSign, to help customers save money as they digitally transform their business.
The new Card was unveiled at the 2025 Absa SME Business Forum, dubbed “Innovation for Growth: Unlocking Kenya’s Enterprise Potential.”
Speaking during the forum, Elizabeth Wasunna-Ochwa, Absa Bank’s Business Banking Director, highlighted the bank’s dedication to empowering MSMEs as part of its broader SME strategy.

The new card offers a convenient and flexible financial solution designed to meet the evolving needs of SMEs.
It provides instant access to working capital with an interest-free period of up to 50 days, helping businesses better manage their cash flow.
The card also enables seamless cross-border payments, supporting trade remittances and international supplier transactions.
Beyond working capital, the card caters to a wide range of SME payment needs.
These include travel and office expenses, fleet expense management, trade payments for distributors and retailers, as well as software and application purchases, particularly beneficial for tech entrepreneurs looking to scale their ventures.
