Astral Aviation is proud to announce the successful completion of a C Check on our Boeing 767-200F (5Y-SNL), carried out entirely by our engineering team in Kenya in May -June 2025
The C Check is one of the most comprehensive and demanding levels of heavy maintenance in aviation, requiring meticulous inspection, testing, and restoration to ensure the highest levels of safety and airworthiness.
This achievement is a testament to our commitment to excellence, safety, and self-reliance. It marks a pivotal step in our strategic vision to develop world-class heavy maintenance capabilities within the continent, reducing dependency on overseas MRO services.

In April Last Year,Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, in partnership with Astral Aviation, a leading cargo airline with extensive African network coverage, successfully completed the inaugural flight from Nairobi, Kenya,to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 21 March 2024.
The flight marked the commencement of a promising collaboration following the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two carriers, aimed at expanding Etihad Cargo’s reach into the African market.
