The Skyward Airlines launched its scheduled direct flights between Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and Garissa hence strengthening the connectivity to North Eastern Kenya and unlocks new opportunities for Trade,Tourism and Investments in the Region.
The new Route will run for times a week (Monday -Sunday)with flights departing Wilson Airport at 11am and arriving in Garissa at 11.50am,giving Travellers a fast,reliable link between the Capital and one of the Kenya’s fastest-growing regional Economies.
Garissa is a Vital hub for trade,humanitarian work ,devolution and cross-border commerce with Somalia and North Eastern Kenya at large.
The new Route and service positions Skyward Airlines on the connectivity partner of choice for Business Travellers,Government Officials,Aid orgnisations and Residents who have long relied on the lengthy road transfers.
Speaking on the Launch Skyward Arlines CEO,Diana Nyambura said,”Opening of the Garissa is more than a new route -as its a commitment to bring the North Eastern Kenya closer to the rest of the Country.

Beyond Passenger Travel,the route will strengthen Airlines Cargo Capabilities,offering faster movement of goods,produce and time-sensitive shipments between Nairobi and Garissa County.
The fares will start from Kshs.9,000 one way ,with tickets available through Skyward’s Website,Travel Agents across the major towns and Call Centres
