Coca-Cola Unveils ‘Coke with Meals’ Campign Celebrating the Magic of Shared Meals and Memorable Moments in Kenya;
Coca-Cola has officially launched its ‘Coke with Meals’ campaign in Kenya, celebrating how everyday meals and a perfectly served Coca-Cola combine to create unforgettable memories at the table.
The campaign recognises that meals are the stage for everyday life – whether it’s a lunch with friends, a quick bite between classes, after-work street food or a family dinner.
‘Coke with Meals’ celebrates these tasty everyday moments, showing how a very cold Coca-Cola enhances the flavour, conviviality and pleasure in each meal.
For generations, Coca-Cola has been an integral part of celebrations in Kenya.
Now, ‘Coke with Meals’ expands the brand’s presence beyond the big occasions.
The campaign reinforces that for many Kenyans, every small win deserves to be celebrated, whether it’s completing an
assignment, finishing daily chores, landing a new gig, or achieving a personal milestone, turning every meal into a celebration worth savouring.
“Coca-Cola believes in the magic of shared meals, especially in a world where food is a cultural phenomenon that brings friends and family to the table,” said Monique Katana, Director Frontline Marketing, Coca-Cola.
“Through this year’s dining campaign, we celebrate ‘A Recipe for Magic’, highlighting how incredible food, unique atmospheres and the refreshing taste of a chilled Coca Cola transform ordinary moments into extraordinary, shared experiences.”
Celebrate Tasty Everyday Moments
The campaign, carried out in partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Kenya, celebrates the two spaces where Kenyans enjoy their meals the most: around the family table at home, where weekend lunches and home-cooked meals bring loved ones together, and in the vibrant dining spaces that define the country’s gastronomic culture, from street food vendors to local restaurants, coffee shops and casual dining spaces where communities meet and socialize.
The campaign follows an urban-first strategy with Gen Z consumers aged 18-25 in mind, including students, new employees, content creators and digital natives, while maintaining strong relevance with millennials, families and urban households.
The activations will take place in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru in tune with the diversity of Kenya’s gastronomic culture and daily meal occasions.
More Than a Campaign – A Cultural Conversation
‘Coke with Meals’ goes beyond traditional promotions, elevating Coca-Cola’s connection to Kenya’s gastronomic culture through authentic storytelling and cultural relevance.
The campaign positions Coca-Cola as an integral part of everyday meals – familiar, accessible, and present in real life.
The campaign will come to life through digital storytelling and social media content that celebrates real-life dining moments with Coca-Cola, partnerships with food content creators and chefs that demonstrate how Coca-Cola complements Kenyan cuisine, and media engagement through radio, television and digital platforms.
Field activations, linked to everyday food occasions in local communities, will take the campaign directly to the places
where people eat and gather, while voices from third parties, including media, chefs and cultural opinion leaders, will authentically integrate Coca-Cola into Kenya’s food narrative.
By bringing Coca-Cola closer to everyday meals, the brand continues to evolve from a drink associated exclusively with special celebrations to a familiar companion at the table, transforming everyday meals into tasty everyday celebrations.
